Farnborough Hill offers many opportunities for pupils of all ages to be involved in putting on a fantastic show!

Every year, Year 7 ends with a spectacular whole Year Group musical, all rehearsed and staged in just three days, to an audience of delighted parents. The camaraderie and confidence built over the, albeit short, production ends Year 7 on a high note!

Our Lower School Production (for Years 8 and 9) is the perfect chance to tread the boards as part of a bigger show: auditions, rehearsals, back stage crew, hair and make up and so on all give a taste of the West End. For some of our girls, the Lower School Production will be their first foray onto the stage, or as a part of the crew; every element has pupils involved!

The Upper School Production is a more challenging opportunity for older pupils to showcase their talents - often, the cast and crew is a little smaller, the shows a little more intimate and therefore demanding of the participants: exactly the exposure a budding actor or lighting designer craves.

The Lower and Upper Productions alternate every other year with a huge Whole School Production, bringing together talents from across the year groups in a sell-out frenzy of song, dance and hairspray.

This year's Upper School Production took us on a dramatic journey through Georgian London with Coram Boy, a powerful story of love, loss, and redemption. Based on the novel by Jamila Gavin, the play follows the intertwined lives of abandoned children, the privileged and the impoverished, exploring themes of family, identity, and the harsh realities of 18th-century society.

The production involved 9 talented leads and a company of 36 pupils who worked extremely hard to bring a complex and emotive production to the stage.
