On behalf of the Governors and Trustees, I am pleased to announce that Zoe Ireland has been appointed Acting Head of Farnborough Hill with immediate effect.
Zoe has previously held various senior pastoral and academic roles in the UK and overseas and been Deputy Head – Academic at Farnborough Hill for six years. She also teaches History and Politics and both her daughters, who are now at their chosen universities, attended Farnborough Hill. Zoe’s focus in the coming months will be to build on our “excellent” ISI inspection rating of 2022 by working closely with our talented staff, empowering them to continue to provide an inspirational experience to pupils both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring we offer them every opportunity to explore their own gifts and talents.
Zoe, the Senior Leadership Team and all the staff have the unwavering support of the Governors over the coming months and I have every confidence that together we will ensure Farnborough Hill remains an “Excellent” school in all ways.
