It was a pleasure to welcome Catherine Hynes (2018) back to the Hill this week. Catherine returned to school on Thursday to give a ThinkTank talk after school. Since graduating from the University of Surrey, Catherine has been working at a small animal practice for the last year. Catherine shared with pupils her journey to becoming a qualified Vet, from initially choosing her career path in Year 9, the journey through GCSEs, A levels and then her Veterinary Medicine Degree. Catherine answered all the pupils’ questions about her career, sharing her top tips and insider track information. Catherine gave her expert advice, in particular about making the most of the support available in school and studying hard but also making sure you have a healthy balance and ensuring you look after your mental health.
