The Feast of the Epiphany, a day filled with solemnity and joy, commemorates the arrival of the Magi, also known as the Wise Men or Three Kings, at the birthplace of Jesus. The beautiful star that guided the Magi to the Christ Child serves as a powerful symbol of God's unwavering love for each of us. As Pope Francis so eloquently shared, "The star speaks to us of that unique light that can show all people the way to salvation and happiness, namely that of love. This is the only light that can make us truly happy."

Though pupils enjoyed the last day of Christmas holidays on Monday 6 January, the Feast of the Epiphany was celebrated with reverence within our school community. While Catholic Churches in England and Wales celebrated this joyous occasion on Sunday 5 January, this week following the Epiphany marks both the closing of the Christmas season and the exciting dawn of a Jubilee Year in the Catholic Church!
