The annual House Christmas Bazaar is such an important charity event and plays a significant part in our fundraising efforts for our five House charities. With the ongoing cost of living crisis, our charities depend upon our funds now more than ever to do their amazing work in supporting the most vulnerable members of our society.
Last Friday afternoon, there was a festive buzz around school as we started to set up the House stalls and decorate the Old House and the Refectory. On Sunday, the final preparations were made and there was definite excitement in the air. It was a joyous sight to see so many pupils, parents and staff enjoying festive music and generously buying gifts and raffle tickets. The Café was as popular as ever; with guests enjoying mulled wine, crêpes, Christmas cakes and treats. The Heads of House would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who generously donated items to the Bazaar and those who volunteered to help make Sunday such a successful and enjoyable event for everyone! Thank you also to the talented musicians in the Swing Band who performed in the Grand Salon throughout the event under the direction of Dr Ian Taylor.
